William Katz: Urgent Agenda
|
MORE ART Posted at 3:25 p.m. ET Such culture we have for you today. Earlier we reported on plans for the artistic design of the set from which the saint will bless the masses tonight in Denver. Now readers Jean Spik and Katherine Winterer point out that the set designer also designs for Britney Spears. Remember when John McCain compared Barack's celebrity status to that of Spears, and was ridiculed? Apparently John was on to something. And it doesn't stop there. London's Daily Mail is running this picture, which they say is a mock-up of Air Force One being delivered to Invesco Field, where Obama will accept the nomination. Look, I can't confirm this. But it's too juicy to ignore. The fun factor overwhelms me.
If the Dems are smart, and occasionally they are, they'd fly the plane off to some undisclosed location, and leave it there. I hope they use it. So tacky, so fun. August 28, 2008. |
